High Tech Systems at InfoDepot
When creating the business plan for InfoDepot, the owners who are also tenants, realized that they couldn't prosper in today's environment without the efficiency of the best high tech systems. Once they made that commitment, it made even more sense to plan for higher capacity and let other tenants tap into it without the capital investment and the headaches of ownership.
If you went to purchase a printer/copier for your business you might plan on your average usage and it might be difficult to justify the collator and automatic stapler. However, at InfoDepot, when you need 10 copies of a 100 page report in 45 minutes, it's great to be able to print to a 40 page per minute with 1500 page paper bin, or the high speed color printer next to it.
These computer systems are designed as mission critical systems with redundancies. At Info Depot you will benefit from our tech partner,
FlexNET Automation Resources, and their on-site, fast response, network specialists who keep all of the various servers and network hardware running efficiently. FlexNET will help you plug in your computers, help you integrate your existing network servers, or even wire your network independent from the rest. All network practices adhere to strict security guidelines.
Here's another way you will save money: On your first day at InfoDepot you'll be able to plug in, receive email and phone calls, use a high speed internet connection, and give a presentation in one of the conference rooms.
And, beginning October, 2004, you'll be able to impress your clients by leasing the The Depot, an authentic 1880 train station, complete with state-of-the-art audio-visual and conferencing equipment for groups up to 40-60 people depending on room set-up.

General:
The internal network consists of a switched 100Mbps fast Ethernet network. Internet Access is serviced through a 1Mbps Symmetric DSL line through a Tier One ISP. We can expand sDSL service on demand and have in place capacity for 12 additional T-1 circuits. The on-site Network Operations Center has existing rack space for 10 additional servers. Tenants have access to firewall-protected proxy servers for remote access without exposing their critical systems to the Internet. Tenants also have the option of connecting their servers directly to the Internet through our onsite routers.
